the beginning of the struggle
The financial condition of the family of Nurul Hasan, a resident of Harraipur village in Pilibhit district, was very bad from the beginning. His father did not even have a job in his childhood. However, later she got the job of a fourth grade employee. At the same time, the mother was the domestic lady and Nurul also had two younger brothers. Due to which it was very difficult to take care of the whole family. Nurul’s early education took place in the village itself. When he was in class six, he learned A, B, C, D… of English. This was the reason that his English was very weak in the beginning.

School top done even in tightness
Nurul Hasan’s mind did not deviate from studies even after passing his childhood in poor condition. Nurul topped her school with 67 per cent marks in class X. After this, when his father got a job, the family left the village and shifted to Bareilly. He did 12th from Bareilly itself. Where I got 75 percent marks. He lived in a slum in Bareilly. Despite the difficult circumstances, he or his family never thought of discontinuing studies.

Father gave ancestral land for coaching
After 12th Nurul decided to do BTech from IIT, but he did not have money for coaching, then his father sold his 1 acre land in the village to pay 35000 rupees for coaching. With the money received from this, Nurul paid the coaching fees and started studies. At the same time, his family had to face criticism from the people for selling the land. But Nurul only concentrated towards his goal. Although he did not get admission in IIT, but he passed the B.Tech entrance examination of Aligarh Muslim University.

After that he enrolled here. In an interview, Nurul told that he did not even have money to pay the college fees, so he started giving physics and chemistry tuitions to the children. He paid his college fees by the money received in tuition fees. Nurul never got scared of the difficulties in his life, but kept moving forward by finding a solution to every difficulty.

First private job, then became scientist
After finishing his studies from here, he got a job in a private company. But within a year, he realized that he was not made for a private job. In such a situation, he took the examination of Bhabha Atomic Research Institute and he was selected as a scientist in Tarapur Center. Everything was going fine from here. Both the younger brothers were studying and the situation at home had also improved. But his mind got upset from here and he turned to UPSC.

Selected in UPSC in third attempt
There was always a desire to move forward in Nurul, this was the reason why he kept moving forward, bypassing the struggles of life. While working as a scientist, Nurul started his efforts for UPSC. He could not even clear the prelims exam in the first attempt. After this, with better preparation, he took the exam once again and this time passed both the prelims and mains exam, although he was not selected due to 129 marks in the interview.

Nurul did not give up even from this failure and by rectifying his shortcomings, once again took the civil services examination in 2014 and this time he not only passed the examination but also became IPS by securing 190 marks in the interview. Nurul Hasan believes that a person can change his situation only through education. He says that if his father had not sold the land for his education, he would not have been an IPS today.

Gives free guidance to children through YouTube
Nurul says that she has felt the lack of right guidance in her life. He didn’t know anything about B.Tech till class 12th. He had to face all these difficulties due to weak economic condition and lack of education in the family.
