This festive season, the sales of Hero Electric vehicles registered a big boost. The company did 24,000 retail sales this festive season. Compared to last year, Hero Electric’s festive sales stood at 11,339-unit for the period October 01 to November 15, 2020. Recent amendments to the FAME II policy and rising fuel prices have fueled the demand for electric vehicles, leading to increased demand.
Sohinder Gill, CEO, Hero Electric said, “We have seen two clear indicators in our showrooms this festive season. A significant percentage of customers chose petrol bikes and Hero e bikes over multiple factors environment and stability as the influencing factors in their purchase. This is a good indicator for Hero and the E2W industry to step into an exponential growth and drive an EV revolution that will help reduce air pollution and make our cities a better place.
