Delhi School Closed: After Kovid-19, air poisoning is suffocating Delhi-NCR. Seeing the increase in air pollution, the Delhi government is making every possible effort. Due to this it has been decided to keep the schools closed till further orders. The Directorate of Education, Government of NCT of Delhi said on Sunday, that on November 13, the Delhi government had ordered the closure of schools till November 20 in view of severe air pollution, but now it has been extended till further orders.

The Delhi government had earlier on November 17 decided to keep all schools closed till further orders, which has now been carried forward. The official directive issued by DoE said, ‘All government, government aided, unaided, NDMC, MCD and Delhi Cantonment Board schools will remain closed till further orders. However, online classes will continue. It further said, ‘All school heads are directed to pass on this information to students, staff members, SMC members and parents.’

It has been decided to keep all the schools in the state closed due to air pollution. In such a situation, there is confusion regarding CBSE Term-1 exam. The Directorate of Education has made it clear in its order that this decision will not affect the board examinations (CBSE Board Exam 2022). The instructions issued by the DoE said, ‘Examinations for the Board classes will be conducted as per the guidelines issued earlier.’

Let us inform that, the examinations of 10th Term-1 Minor subjects are going on from 17th November. Whereas the examination of Major subjects will be held from November 30 to December 11. At the same time, the examinations of 12th minor subjects are going on from 16th November and the examinations of major subjects will be held from 01 to 22 December 2021.

AQI still above 300 in Delhi
Till Sunday morning, Delhi’s overall air quality remained in the “very poor” category, while officials estimate that Delhi’s AQI is likely to improve due to strong winds. The AQI in the national capital was recorded at 377 in the morning and 374 in the evening on Saturday morning.
